A flexible boom solution
Caljan BeltTrack telescopic boom conveyor
Emptying more than 300 containers each year is something of a challenge. In 2007 Soestrene Green installed a Caljan BeltTrack telescopic boom conveyor with four sections at their storage facilities in Aarhus, Denmark. With an extendability of 14.7 metres, this telescopic conveyor reaches into all types of container and truck. A droop snoot articulating belt fitted to the head of the conveyor enables the operator to adjust the height of the belt to suit, so that unnecessary lifting is avoided. This particular installation is mobile, running on tracks between multiple doors.

Caljan BeltTrack telescopic boom conveyors are used to load/unload loose-loaded cargo including parcels, boxes, sacks & tyres. Reaching up to 16.7 m, Caljan BeltTrack boom conveyor is an effective and ergonomic alternative to labour-intensive routines, allowing the operator to ergonomically move heavy or awkward packages. A user-friendly joystick enables precise control of the boom's elevation and horizontal position. Push buttons at the operator end of the machine control activation and belt direction.
Our comprehensive range – from two sections up to six sections – enables us to provide a boom conveyor to suit your precise requirements. For instance a 5-section boom may be the right solution in an application calling for a small footprint, combined with a long extendability. Booms are available in standard belt widths of 600 and 800 mm.
Our boom conveyors have a standard load capacity of 50 kg per linear metre. However, if your application demands a load capacity of 100 kg plus, we are able to put together a solution that suits. Your conveyor can also be customised by adding various options.

The unique design is protected by patent. Fully compliant with BS EN619, a safety standard that calls for all machinery used in the workplace to be guarded to prevent operator injury, our telescopic boom conveyors have underside guarding, brushes at gaps, encased chains and shielded moving parts. Trollies fitted with double bearings help spread the load of the telescopic sections whilst the booms are extending, providing uniform high performance throughout the conveyors lifetime.
